The National Think Tank

Every year, the National Think Tank brings together a diverse group of 20 participants to discuss the challenges facing our society and come up with solutions. In 2022, the focus of the Think Tank was on the biodiversity crisis and the specific problems that the Netherlands is experiencing. The participants worked intensively on this topic and ultimately produced a comprehensive report with solutions. 

To bring this report to wider attention, both in the media and among the general public, issuemakers assisted the Think Tank several times during the process. We gave a presentation on the importance of effective communication and also organized a media training and a workshop to teach the young people how to write persuasive opinion pieces. This enables participants to develop valuable communication skills that they can use independently. 

In 2022, our collaboration led to a number of great articles in the media, including Trouw and NRC!
