In our new interview series “How are things going with former employees?” we speak to former interns, among others, about their time at Issuemakers. We are also curious about their current field or place of work and how they can apply the insights gained at Issuemakers there. This edition we speak to Noor Broeders, who currently works at Accenture.

How long did you work at Issuemakers?
I interned at Issuemakers from April to July 2020. These were the very first months of the lockdown so it was quite a strange time to start at a new organization, but I nevertheless always felt very welcome during my internship. Fortunately, during those months I was also able to meet many colleagues in real life and learn a lot.

Where do you work now?
I have just completed my internship at Accenture's Health & Public Services department, am now going to take a nice holiday and will start as a strategy & consulting analyst at this company on October 1.

What did you learn at Issuemakers that is still useful to you today?
Carrying out stakeholder analyzes within all kinds of different industries, attending creative brainstorming sessions, but above all translating complex issues and issues into manageable and understandable components.

“I miss the extensive discussions about the latest news the most”

What do you miss most about your time at Issuemakers?
The extensive discussions about the latest news during the morning stand-ups and the always pleasant - but above all - educational calls with Mayke and Sybrig about our various future plans.
