Elsevier, an originally Dutch company, is the largest scientific publisher in the world. It is committed to achieving diversity and inclusion – within its own ranks, but also in the scientific world. The company wants to make these initiatives and its social position on this issue visible, for example by allowing the company's internal experts to speak. Michiel Kolman, VP Industry Relations and chairman of the Workplace Pride Foundation, is such an expert. Issuemakers has supported Kolman and Elsevier in writing various opinion pieces, with professor Jojanneke van der Toorn and politician and writer Boris Dittrich. This wonderful collaboration has led to various publications in Het Parool and Het Financieele Dagblad.
