The Museum of the Mind uses art and culture to discuss mental vulnerabilities. 2024 was largely dominated by financial problems and finding additional funding to guarantee continued existence. Issuemakers collaborated on the rescue campaign 'Save the Open Mind'. From strategy to the manifestation on the Grote Markt in Haarlem.

Through media articles, the museum's extensive network and posts on social media, the public and politicians were motivated to visit the museum and/or support it in other ways. With success: the support the museum received was immense. Many donations in the form of money, time and heart under the belt, ensure that it can remain open in 2025!
Everyone goes through phases in their life where it is mentally doesn't happen automatically, for some are mental vulnerabilities even permanent. A place like this museum, where you see that you are not alone with those problems, where you will receive tools to take better care of yourself or Caring for your loved ones is more important than ever. Go see it, go experience it, because in 2025 to stand two crazy exhibitions planned with Animal Therapy and Who Cares. – Lars Ykema (Issuemakers)
