Stakeholder communication for National Test Capacity Coordination Structure
During the corona crisis, a national crisis structure developed within the government within which the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) set up the National Test Capacity Coordination Structure (LCT) at the end of March 2020. The LCT, with special envoy Feike Sijbesma, is committed to increasing testing capacity for COVID-19 in the Netherlands.
The Issuemakers were asked to support the LCT in the start-up phase in terms of communication. The testing landscape is complex and has various stakeholders, such as suppliers, laboratories and all kinds of different parties in healthcare. In the first period we therefore provided the following support in communication with stakeholders:
- The stakeholders involved have been mapped
- The existence and purpose of the LCT made known to all stakeholders
- Set up the structure for collecting input on a weekly basis and fine-tuning the content for a weekly update
- Preparing and sending out a weekly update from the LCT to all stakeholders
As an agency, we are happy that we were able to use our expertise in this way for the testing capacity in the Netherlands!
