As an advisor at Issuemakers, I focus primarily on assignments within the public and healthcare sectors. These sectors appeal to me because of their broad social impact and the complex issues that often require long-term solutions. For example, I have worked for organizations such as the Tax and Customs Administration, UWV and the Dutch Labor Inspectorate. I find the healthcare sector particularly interesting because of the tension between the human aspect and financial sustainability. Here, I have been involved in projects for VvAA, patient organizations such as NVOS Orthobanda and MSD.

My work within these sectors includes following political developments, advocacy, stakeholder management and issue management. Together with clients, I strive for lasting, positive changes within their organizations.

Of course I can also really enjoy the moments when I am not working. I prefer to do that together with people, on the water or in the kitchen. I really enjoy sailing on Frisian lakes or the Adriatic Sea. I also love cooking and experimenting with different cuisines.
