Gaining attention for the topics that you find important, from the people who matter to you, that is what I enjoy doing most. Preferably with campaigns, innovations or policies with which we create a positive impact for society. At Issuemakers I am involved in campaign and media strategy, issue management, creative concept development and I give media training and workshops.
I have done this in recent years for many different clients, for many more different topics. From making food fairer (Tony's Chocolonely, Mister Kitchen, Lidl), stimulating creativity among young people (Samsung X Nxt Museum), increasing digital literacy (Media Literacy Week, Seniorweb), a more biodiverse Netherlands (National Think Tank) to opening a new palace (Palace Het Loo) and further professionalizing influencer marketing (PR introduction of Certified by influencer rules, awarded a golden Dutch PR Award).
In addition to my Communication Science studies, I enjoyed taking the VEA course C20 Concept Development, I studied behavioral change in the public domain at the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and I followed the Design Sprint Masterclass by AJ&Smart.
Outside of work I do sports (tennis, football, cycling, paddle tennis, running, there's little I don't like) or visit
