Vacancy: Issuemakers is looking for a public affairs advisor with knowledge of healthcare

Issuemakers is an agency for strategic communication and public affairs. We work at the intersection of politics, communication, policy and strategy. Together with our clients, we formulate their social ambitions or sharpen them so that they can have a positive impact on society. We do this by creating, monitoring and managing issues. As part of the Rud Pedersen Group, we have 650 colleagues throughout Europe in 19 offices. We work for Dutch and European clients.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a public affairs advisor with at least three years of relevant work experience, preferably in or with the House of Representatives. In addition:

  • Are you familiar with policy and political decision-making;
  • Do you have experience in, or an affinity with, the healthcare sector;
  • Do you have good analytical skills and know how to do stakeholder management;
  • Do you dare to take strategic responsibility for multiple clients, both in terms of content and finances? As a medior, you set the course for clients and the internal team and you also roll up your sleeves yourself;
  • Are you a professional who wants to deliver impactful work for our clients and society;
  • As we are a European agency, you are fluent in Dutch and English.

What are you going to do?
A lot. You advise Dutch and European clients on current political and social issues. You follow the latest developments in the healthcare sector, both in politics and in the media. You develop strategies, make stakeholder analyses, write action plans and draw up quotations. You maintain contacts, build a network and contribute to generating new business. You think and build on the strategy, development and future of our agency.
