Issuemakers is looking for a management assistant (24 hours per week, location Amstelveen)

Issuemakers is an agency for strategic communication and public affairs. We work at the intersection of politics, communication, policy and strategy. Together with our clients, we formulate their social ambitions or sharpen them so that they can have a positive impact on society. We do this by creating, monitoring and managing issues. As part of the Rud Pedersen Group, we have 650 colleagues throughout Europe in 19 offices. We work for Dutch and European clients. To strengthen our growing organization, we are looking for a new colleague who is strong in organization and who, as a management assistant, ensures that everything runs smoothly.

What are you going to do?
You are the support and confidant of our director and the point of contact for the team in the field of HR and operational matters. No day is the same! You switch effortlessly between different tasks and keep all the balls in the air with ease. You receive visitors, answer the phone, e-mail and mail, and you support the director in organizational and secretarial areas.

  • Support to the director in organizational and secretarial matters
  • Planning and coordinating meetings and monitoring action points
  • HR activities such as creating leave overviews and processing sick leave and recovery reports
  • Receive guests and ensure a warm and professional appearance of our office
  • Agenda management, correspondence and telephone management
  • Purchasing office supplies and maintaining our spaces
  • Occasionally participate in projects, such as checking text for the website

Who are you?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • You are an energetic organizational talent, you like to be the linchpin, you have a healthy dose of independence and take initiative
  • You are eager to learn, accurate and reliable, easy to get along with but at the same time discreet and loyal
  • You are strong in planning and organizing, you maintain an overview and know how to set the right priorities in a dynamic environment
  • You speak and write Dutch fluently and can also communicate well in English
  • You can work effortlessly with Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel from Microsoft Office
